How to care for your Amielle Comfort dilators

Amielle Comfort vaginal dilators should be washed after each use. Clean the dilators in hot soapy water and dry thoroughly before putting them away in the storage bag.

Please ensure all traces of soap are removed to avoid irritation. Alternatively you can immerse the dilators in boiling water.

Remember to wash the dilator handle if it has been used.

Amielle Comfort vaginal dilators can be sterilised by one of the following methods:

Steam autoclave using a standard cycle where the temperature is a nominal 134°C/273°F up to a maximum of 3 times.

Ethylene oxide gas sterilisation at a Central Sterile Supplies Department (C.S.S.D).

Boiling water steriliser. Immerse completely in boiling water for 5 minutes. 

Always be sure the cones are dry inside and out before returning them to the bag for storage.
